The Jesus del Pozo Foundation is a non-profit organization created to promote any initiative related to spreading and learning fashion design and the fashion industry.
In 2003 Jesus del Pozo set up the foundation after personally taking note of the fact that students had few opportunities to give expression to their knowledge on creative projects destined for practical and real use. His vision was to turn his workshop into a “didactic space” at the service of the students. Since then, by means of hands-on learning, over seventy students, coming from over twenty universities, have developed their first professional activity through the Jesus del Pozo Foundation.
The Foundation, in addition to collaborating with other learning activities, has created a trust to grow and assess other projects that expand its sphere of influence through exhibitions, patronage, grants, etc. Fruit of this initiative is the “Jesus del Pozo Grant” to the Master’s Degree in VOGUE Fashion and Beauty Communication with the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid. All of this work is focused on paying tribute to Jesus del Pozo as an emblematic figure in fashion; keeping his legacy alive through knowledge.
